Pod bounty

A Common false-thorn tree Albizia harveyi full of ripe seed pods. This family of trees with their feathery leaves resemble Acacias but have no thorns. The seed pods are swollen above the seed and dehisce or split apart on the tree when ripe and dry, releasing the seeds which are very successful in germinating.
