Mopane seed show

At tall Mopane tree Colophospermum mopane covered in very many small light brown seed pods. Both the seed pod and the single seed inside are kidney shaped and the seed has resinous dots which helped stick to the underside of animals feet and be spread. Mopanes often dominate hot, low lying areas of alluvial or alkaline soils in Southern Africa. Mopane worms which are eaten by locals feed on the leaves
